Grind

You should grind your material as finely as possible. This will ensure consistent, complete extraction without any chunky bits.

A three- or four-piece grinder can be turned upside down to produce a fine finder grind. You can also use a two-piece grinder, but it will take a bit longer.

You will need a grinder that is grater-style or finer than the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder and New Vape’s Fine Grinder.

Pack

PAX 2 in uk is best used tightly packed to spread heat throughout the bowl. The lid can be used to seal the contents of your oven.

For best results, smaller loads should still be packed tightly. For half-packs, you might consider purchasing the PAX Pusher from New Vape and the Half-Pack Oven Lid (PAX) to ensure good results.

Draw

Pulling too hard on a conduction vaporizer will cause it to overheat and produce a lot of vapor. It is best to begin with a gentle, cigar-like draw. As you become more comfortable with the system, you can take longer, lighter draws.

New Vape offers an oven lid with holes for improved airflow for those who can’t tolerate restrictive draws. The vapor thickness is affected by the increased airflow, which increases it by 30%.

Do I need to stir?

The PAX 2 heats your herbs evenly and does not require stirring. The PAX 2 will heat your herbs evenly without stirring. I have found very little color in the material near the oven door. However, it is not enough to warrant stirring halfway through.

Flip it!

If the herbs are sufficiently sticky and tightly packed, they will form a stick in the oven. To ensure even cooking, flip the puck upside-down on your palm.
