Hairstyles that are stylish will be trending again but with a modern twist. Back in the 1990s, layered hairstyles were the fashion. In 2023, we’re going to bring back feathered, flippy, and wispy hairstyles.

Layers were something that a majority of my clients resisted for many years. A lot of clients didn’t realize the way that texture, shape, and volume can enhance and complement our natural appearance. In my role as a hair stylist, I use layers of hair to shape it to reduce bulk, create the illusion of movement and add volume.

1. Wispy Layers

It’s a great style. Wispy is among my favorite songs. When I think of wispy, I envision a light, airy look. The wispy look is ideal for an airy and light style.
