Have you ever wished that your brows were thicker and fuller? Are you prone to sloppy brows? Do you want instant-worthy eyebrow threading in New York? Brow henna might be for you if you answered “yes” to any of these questions. Great, right? You might be wondering what the differences are between traditional tinting or brow henna. Let’s find out if brow-henna is right for you! p.s. p.s.

What is Brow Henna?

Henna is a dye made from Lawsonia Inermis plants. It is an exotic dye originating in the Middle East and South Asia. This temporary dye can be used to stain hair for up to five weeks and skin for up to two weeks, depending on your skin type. Henna can stain your skin, which is more effective than traditional tinting.

What is the time taken to make Brow Henna?

The process is the same as if you have ever had your eyebrows tinted traditionally. It takes around 15 minutes, but it can take a bit longer, depending on how long the effect lasts. The results will last longer if you leave the Henna on your eyebrows for longer.

Who is Henna best for?

Brow henna works best for clients who have patchy brows or want a fuller look. This eyebrow tint lasts slightly longer than traditional ones.

Henna: How soon will you see results?

After the procedure, you should avoid getting your eyebrows wet. The colour of your eyebrows will last approximately 6 weeks, depending on how long your hair grows. The Henna can stay on your skin for up to two weeks. It all depends on whether you have oily or dry skin. The Henna can’t penetrate if your skin is oily. This can cause adhering problems. For optimal results and longevity, please avoid exfoliating or using oil-based products around your eyebrows.

Is henna safe?

There is always a chance of chemical reactions with any dying process. This process is not recommended for anyone who has ever experienced an allergic reaction to dyes or PPD (used in dyeing the Henna different colours).
