I can’t believe it’s been a month since the last time I did one of these, feels like last week! Anyway, let’s get on with it and find out what I’ve been loving this month!
Benefit Porefessional Primer
So, I picked this up when I was out shopping on the London Bbloggers Meet up and I’ve loved it since. The feel on my skin is so soft and velvety and it makes my stupid giant pores look so much better! I wear it under my foundation but you can wear it on it’s own if you wanted to, and it does look good enough to be able to do this too. There’s currently an offer on the Boots website too, if you buy two Benefit products you get a free sample of Porefessional, so this could be a good way for you to test it out before buying the whole thing.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Brown Sugar
I don’t know why but I can’t seem to find this shade on the Boots or the Superdrug website, but I bought this in Boots, again on the Bbloggers day. The lip butters have had a lot of coverage in the press and on the blogs so I thought I would find out what all the fuss is about. I have to say that Revlon is a brand I never use. I don’t actively avoid them or anything like that, just forget they exist. I found the lip butter to be really nice and soft on my lips but it doesn’t last as long as I would have liked. That said I’m a lipgloss person trying to make to jump to lipstick, so this is a great product for me and it does condition my lips well too. They’re currently £5.99 on the Superdrug website, so worth picking up!
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
I got this mascara in the Smashbox Try It kit and it was the standout product for me. It curled and separated my lashes really well but didn’t clump. I really hate the spider look and much prefer my mascara to be almost invisible and that’s how this was for me. My lashes looked great and it really opened my eyes up, I will almost certainly buy the whole product of this next time I’m mascara shopping.
MUA The Artiste Collection Palette
I’m loving this palette at the moment! It has everything and, as always with MUA, the quality is great for £6! The blushers are quite subtle which is something I want at the moment as I’m just getting used to wearing blush. There are also six merged eyeshadows which have a great payoff and blend well together for a smokey eye look. Bargain!
