Never Burned Out for Summer

Due to high demand, we have brought back our classic maxi right in time for summer. Always wanting to add a little lux, the maxi comes in a velvet burnout fabric with bright colors, perfect for standing out in summer. We also added beaded straps (adjustable of course) instead of our usual solid straps to give it a more unique feel and side slits so you can show off your tan legs. Easily versatile, we've seen girls in our office going to after work drinks, pairing it with a leather jacket, to one of our other girls wearing it as is with gladiator sandals and hair in a high bun paired with bangles. Either way, the dress is perfect for every style. Buy it here and did we mention, we also made a blouse version too? I know, we're obsessed too.

A Local Fave: Pressed Juicery

Juicing is taking over... and for good reason! It's tasty, has a handful of nutrients and it also makes for a great cleanse (after a long, fun weekend!) Although not a huge fan of cleansing, it makes for a great meal substitute or mid afternoon snack. Favorite flavors include watermelon mint, greens 3, citrus 4 and, for a sweet treat, the almond milk!

The Cooper Building location in Downtown LA is our go-to!

Update Your Closet with These 5 Must-Have Items

Spring is weeks away! With that said, it's time to pack up your heavy coats and chunky sweaters and add some fresh pieces to your wardrobe. Here are a few items we think are crucial to start your Spring off right!

For an option that won't break the break, start with something small and colorful, like a scarf! Under $100,  and they will make jeans and a solid tee come to life.

If you don't already have a jumpsuit, it's a must-have item that you can wear year around. You can play it safe with a classic black silk version, but if you like to take risks, we say go with the Tye Die Leopard!

If you are not quite ready to bring out the open toe sandals, still look Spring-ready with the Grier booties. They are brown suede with bright embroidery and go with everything from jeans to shorts to dresses!

For your fun, warm weather outings to the farmers market and beach picnics, you will need a bold tote! This Classic Shopper is lightweight and will add a nice touch to any outfit.

And our last must-have item is a versatile dress in a vibrant color! This dress can be worn so many ways, but pair with a cropped denim jacket and  ballet flats for an effortlessly chic look.

Furniture Favorites: A Combo of Vintage & Modern.

I love furniture that is made in the USA, but coincidently, two of my all time faves are from the Golden State. The first one being Milo Baughman of Long Beach, CA and Glenn lawson and Grant Fenning of Lawson-Fenning of Silverlanke, CA.

Milo Baughman was the leading modern furniture designer in the second half of the 20th century. His American designs are disctinctive, unpretentious and affordable.

Lawson-Fenning is mid-century inspired and they use vintage inspiration and new materials to add a modern twist to their designs.

The Pop Shop

Even though it's still snowing in parts of the country, it is warm and sunny in others. One of our favorite warm weather treats are ice pops. The Pop Shop is a Los Angeles based company that makes 100% natural and guilt free popsicles. They are handmade with organic sugar and seasonal farmer's market produce. Some of our favorite flavors: Avocado Vanilla, Watermelon Lime, Lychee, and Lemon Basil. Check out their website at
