CV Street Style: Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba has been a long time fan of Cynthia Vincent. However, the past few months her CV street style has been on point. Always effortless and confident, she not only dresses to compliment her body, but never strays away from her own distinct style by incorporating other amazing pieces to create her look. Below we highlight some of our favorite Jessica Alba x Cynthia Vincent moments.

A Very Cynthia Vincent Wedding
Nothing makes us happier than having a bride choose to wear us on her special day.
Needless to say, we were ecstatic when we got our hands on photos from Dana & Nelson's gorgeous desert wedding. Dana was a true bohemian belle in the Long Sleeve Maxi Dress cut from our embroidered crinkled chiffon. Dana chose to complete the look with a delicate flower crown made of blush flowers and eucalyptus.
Check out her story below. Nelson is one lucky guy.
"We were married on October 4, 2014 in Joshua Tree, CA at Pipes Canyon Lodge. We fell in love with the area during our first camping trip, shortly after moving to Los Angeles in 2012. The incredible desert landscape has provided us with many new adventures and offered peaceful relief in times when we've needed it most. We wanted to share this breathtaking experience with those closest to us.
After going in and out of traditional bridal shops I soon realized that I was not connecting with the dresses they carry at most of the places, nor did I want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. I wanted something I felt like myself in that was light and comfortable. I also wanted to take into consideration the landscape and terrain of where we were getting married. I stumbled upon the Cynthia Vincent dress when searching online and fell in love immediately! It was exactly what I had been wanting and I knew it would be perfect for Joshua Tree! It was extra special because when I found it I happened to be visiting my mother in Florida. Because I live in Los Angeles we didn't think we would be together when I found THE dress. I felt the most free and beautiful I ever have on my wedding day. Thank you Cynthia!"
A big thanks to Dana for sharing her special day with us & Gina Clyne Photography for the beautiful images.

September in New York
This past month has been filled with all things NYC.
Cynthia participated in an amazing event during New York Fashion Week with Mattel, Barbie and The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), where she was one of five designers chosen to create a one-of-a-kind, life-size Barbie look to launch Mattel’s Fashion Design Maker™ Doll. CV's dress below (center) along with other designs from Whit, Charlotte Ronson, Tess Giberson and Rebecca Taylor.
A week later, Cynthia flew back to NYC to celebrate her dress within the 100% Bloomingdale's Collection. Cynthia joined fellow designers for a presentation hosted by Bloomingdale's Fashion Director Brooke Jaffe.

A Happy Shopper
We were touched and honored to receive a thoughtful email from a happy customer reaching out to us all the way from Denmark about a Cynthia Vincent blouse that had lasted the test of time.
Her note speaks for itself...
"I just wanted to let you know that today, nine years since I bought my favorite top from Cynthia Vincent, it finally gave up. I got my dream job wearing it for the job interview. I have been wearing it endlessly for work, for parties, funerals and on the hottest of summer days. What great design that it can last for nine years. I am going to miss it so much. - Anna"
Anna's note quickly circulated throughout the office reaching the design team and eventually Cynthia herself. Honored by the note Cynthia sent a handwritten letter of appreciation.
We love our fans and want to learn more about where you wear Cynthia Vincent! If you happen to have a moment, send us a quick note or tag your photos with #CVibes to keep us in the loop.
Last month we escaped from the city to serene El Capitan Canyon with some of our favorite bloggers and Piperlime.
Cynthia decked out each cabin to add her signature bohemian touch with pillows and throws made out of faux fur backed with some of her favorite CV prints. She created a magical outdoor setting, with the focus being a WWII parachute that she found, creating a homebase space full of treasured items from her personal home collection.
Vintage foldout chairs and refurbished camping cots, and even a tent made out a CV bright printed fabric were created to enhance the environment and make the group feel like they were truly in the World Of CV.
After a lovely lunch, sunset dinner, s’mores and campfire storytelling-- and a morning-after yoga session, the girls departed for home- all of us not wanting our time together to end.
Don't worry girls, there is always next year...Thank you Piperlime for making this trip so memorable!

Never Burned Out for Summer
Due to high demand, we have brought back our classic maxi right in time for summer. Always wanting to add a little lux, the maxi comes in a velvet burnout fabric with bright colors, perfect for standing out in summer. We also added beaded straps (adjustable of course) instead of our usual solid straps to give it a more unique feel and side slits so you can show off your tan legs. Easily versatile, we've seen girls in our office going to after work drinks, pairing it with a leather jacket, to one of our other girls wearing it as is with gladiator sandals and hair in a high bun paired with bangles. Either way, the dress is perfect for every style. Buy it here and did we mention, we also made a blouse version too? I know, we're obsessed too.
It's a Shore Thing for Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend is here, kicking off summer under the California sun. Our weekend is packed with barbeques galore, pool parties and not to mention a good fruit mojito here and there. Luckily, our La Jolla Cove summer print dress is so versatile, we can go from one event to another without any outfit glitches (or mishaps for that matter). With side slits, 100% silk, and a loose shift body, it's the perfect summer kick off dress, flattering for any body type. We love pairing it with our etched leather gladiator sandals and Dunnaway woven satchel (which holds literally EVERYTHING). Take a peek and don't forget our Memorial Day weekend sale where sale items are an EXTRA 20% off with the code MEMORIAL till Monday.
